Taylor Montano is a Mexican, nonbinary, queer writer who received their bachelors degree in English (Creative Writing) from Arizona State University. They have spent the past year working at Grace Records, and before that, teaching American Sign Language, 95% Literacy Intervention System, and Creative Writing at Magma Ranch K-8. With the honor of two writing awards—ASU’s 1st place Homecoming Award and 2nd place Swarthout Award—they await their waitlist results for admission into ASU’s Creative Writing MFA program.
